Matt Fechter, Colorado College, Men's Soccer (Offensive)
MATT FECHTER
OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a freshman forward from
Westfield, N.J., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer
Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday,
October 12 through Sunday, October 18.
Fechter tallied four goals and added an assist in
Colorado College’s 6-1 victory over Oglethorpe University on
Sunday.
Fechter scored 2:52 into the contest, the
earliest goal for the Tigers in a game this season, and then
notched what proved to be the first game-winning goal of his career
4:41 later.
Fechter completed his first career hat trick in
the 14th minute. He added a goal and an assist in the second half
to finish with nine points.
Fechter leads the team with nine goals and is tied for the team lead with 21 points.
