Ben Grossman, Trinity University, Men's Soccer (Offensive)

BEN GROSSMAN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior forward from San Diego, Calif., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 14 through Sunday, September 20.

Grossman scored two goals and two assists over the weekend, leading the 12th-ranked Tigers to a pair of SCAC road victories.

Grossman knocked in two first-half goals in Friday’s win over Austin College, then assisted on the game’s third and final goal in the second half. Against Colorado College, Grossman assisted on the game-winning goal in a 1-0 double-overtime victory.

For the season, Grossman leads Trinity with six goals and four game-winners – including Friday’s against Austin College. He also picked up his first two assists of the season and is one of only two players with more than one assist this year.
