Jake Smith, Colorado College, Men's Lacrosse (Offensive)
JAKE SMITH OF
COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore attacker from Golden,
Colo., has been selected the SCAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive
Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 16 through
Sunday, April 22.
Smith recorded 10 goals and five assists
to fuel the Colorado College offense in a pair of victories last
weekend. Smith scored four times and set up
another during Friday’s 25-2 victory at Rhodes College.
In Sunday’s 25-2 win at Millsaps, Smith set
season highs with five goals and five assists. The scoring outburst
propelled him to second on the team with 19 goals and 30 points. He
also is tied for third with 11 assists.
