Austin College's Alade, Trinity's Caldarera, and Centre's Noll named NABC All-District
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Austin College senior Kola Alade, Centre College senior Danny Noll and Trinity University junior Luke Caldarera earned postseason recognition as the trio each earned National Association of Basketball Coaches Division III All-District honors, the organization announced this morning.

Alade Selected to Play in NABC All-Star Game
SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College senior mens basketball player Kola Alade has been selected to participate in the inaugural National Association of Basketball Coaches NCAA Division III All-Star Game in Salem, Virginia, it was announced today. The game will be played on Saturday, March 20 as a part of the NCAA Division III Final Four festivities.

Rhodes' Hilgeman Announces Retirement
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Herb Hilgeman, who just completed his 34th year as the Rhodes head basketball coach, announced today will retire from his position at Rhodes effective May 15. Herb is the dean of college coaches in the Memphis area having served as the Lynx head basketball coach since 1976.

SALEM, Va. The finalists for the prestigious Jostens Trophy were announced today by members of the Rotary Club of Salem, Va. Senior forward Danny Noll of Centre College was one of the 10 men's finalists.

Centre draws Eastern Mennonite in NCAA First Round
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Centre College, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference champions, will play at host Eastern Mennonite University on Friday, March 5 in the first round of the 2010 NCAA Division III Tournament. The Colonels won the SCAC's automatic bid with a 60-56 win over DePauw in the championship game.

DANVILLE, Ky. - In his 11th season at Centre College, head men's basketball coach Greg Mason recorded his 200th career win as Centre beat the University of the South 71-36 on Sunday, Jan. 10.

DePauw's Fenlon notches 400th career win
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Steve Lemasters scored 23 and David Gray posted a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds as DePauw posted an 86-64 win at Rhodes in the SCAC opener for both schools. The win was also the 400th career victory for DePauw head coach Bill Fenlon who is in his 25th season at the collegiate level. Of that total, 293 have come in 18 years at DePauw.

Grizzlies to hold training camp at Birmingham-Southern
MEMPHIS, Tenn. The Memphis Grizzlies will officially begin their ninth season in the Bluff City by holding training camp in Birmingham, Ala., Grizzlies General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Wallace announced today. The weeklong camp will take place at Bill Battle Coliseum on the campus of Birmingham-Southern College from Sept. 29-Oct. 5.

Rhodes' Cory Smith inks professional contract in Luxembourg
