Emily Boyle, Centre College, Field Hockey (Co-Defensive)

EMILY BOYLE OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a senior back from Louisville Ky., has been selected as the SCAC Field Hockey Co-Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played Monday, September 1 through Sunday, September 7.

Boyle, a co-captain, was instrumental in both Colonel victories this past week as she locked down the right-side attack of both Washington and Lee and Fontbonne University. 

Boyle's play in the backfield was supplemented by her ability to jump start the Centre attack with her strong dribbling and passing.  She added an assist for the Colonels as well.
