Caroline Carlin, Sewanee: The University of the South, Field Hockey (Offensive)

CAROLINE CARLIN OF SEWANEE: UNIVERSITY OF THE SOUTH, a junior midfielder from Gladwyne, Pa., has been selected as the SCAC Field Hockey Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played Monday, September 14 through Sunday, September 20.

Carlin scored four goals in Sewanee's two victories this past weekend. In Friday's match-up with Catawba College, Carlin's first half goal tied the game at 1-1.

On Sunday, Carlin had a hat-trick in the game against Sweet Briar College. Two of her goals came in the first half and one in the second half.

In addition to her goals this weekend, Carlin helped to anchor the midfield with her relentless defense and ability to distribute the ball to the forwards.
