Rachel Webb, Rhodes College, Field Hockey (Defensive)
RACHEL WEBB OF
RHODES COLLEGE, a junior back from Virginia Beach,
Va., has been selected as the SCAC Field Hockey Defensive
Player-of-the-Week for matches played Monday, September 14 through
Sunday, September 20.
Webb earned her first career assist in Sunday's
victory over Kenyon and played an integral role on defense for the
Lynx this weekend.
After playing outside defender the last two season
Webb moved to sweeper this weekend and adjusted
with no problems. Her speed, tenacity, and elimination skills will
continue to help the Lynx all season long.
