Libby Jones, Rhodes College, Field Hockey (Offensive)
LIBBY JONES OF
RHODES COLLEGE, a sophomore forward from Prairie
Village, Kan., has been selected as the SCAC Field Hockey Offensive
Player-of-the-Week for matches played Monday, September 7 through
Sunday, September 13.
Jones led the Lynx this weekend with the first
game winning goal of her career in the team’s shutout victory
over Hendrix. Jones was responsible for seven of
the Lynx 16 shots on the day and is an integral part of the
team’s penalty corner offense.
In two games this season Jones has tallied four
points, good for second on the team behind junior Lindsey
Gurkovich.
