Jacob Hanberry, Millsaps College, Football (Defensive)
JACOB HANBERRY OF MILLSAPS COLLEGE, a 6-1, 177-pound senior defensive back from Cut Off, La., has been selected the SCAC Football Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, November 1.
Hanberry had a season-high seven tackles, two pass breakups and an interception in the Majors' 56-27 road win at Trinity. Clinging onto a two touchdown lead in the fourth quarter, the senior made a game-changing interception in the end zone that sealed the win for Millsaps.
