Josh Willis, Austin College, Football (Defensive)
JOSH WILLIS OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a 5-11, 165-pound sophomore safety from Conway, Ark., has been selected the SCAC Football Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, October 11.
Willis forced and recovered a fumble, intercepted two passes and tallied eight tackles (six solo). Willis forced and recovered a fumble on Austin's 10-yard line with the ‘Roos clinging to a 23-20 lead late in the third quarter. Wills also intercepted a pass at Austin's 3-yard line with the ‘Roos leading 33-20 late in the game to preserve the 33-22 win.
