ALFONZA KNIGHT
OF SEWANEE-THE UNIVERSITY OF THE SOUTH, a 6-0,
190-pound first-year linebacker from Nashville, Tenn., has been
selected the SCAC Football Special Teams Player-of-the-Week for
games played Saturday, September 6.
Knight blocked a punt and returned it 20 yards to seal the Tigers'
26-14 win over Westminster (Mo.). He also chipped in with three
tackles (two solo) from his linebacker position.
