Dane Wilson, Rhodes College, Football (Offensive)

 DANE WILSON OF RHODES COLLEGE a 5-10 171 pound sophomore running back from Bartlett, Tenn., has been selected the SCAC Football Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, September 24.

Wilson had a huge day as the Lynx snapped a 10 game losing streak against DePauw University, with a 24-14 win. Wilson accounted for 175 yards of total offense and scored all three of the Rhodes touchdowns. He opened the Lynx scoring taking a screen pass 80 yards for a touchdown.

Wilson also scored on a nine-yard pass to extend the Lynx lead to 17-0 and capped the Rhodes scoring with a 20-yard touchdown run with 2:28 to play to make the score 24-7. For the day Wilson carried the ball 13 times for 65 yards and 1 touchdown and caught four passes for 110 yards and 2 scores.
