Cooper McGuire, Centre College, Football (Defensive)
COOPER MCGUIRE OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a 6-3, 212-pound sophomore defensive end from Lexington, Ky., has been selected the SCAC Football Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, October 10.
McGuire tallied seven tackles (four solo) including 2.5 for loss in Centre's 14-13 win at Birmingham-Southern. He also forced a fumble and added a sack. McGuire helped lead a defense that limited the Panthers to just 56 rushing yards and 174 total yards on the afternoon.
