Brian Sneed, Centre College, Football (Defensive)
BRIAN SNEED OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a 6-0, 195-pound senior linebacker from Hendersonville Tenn., has been selected the SCAC Football Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, September 19.
Sneed tallied 11 tackles, including six solo and five assisted, while also intercepting a pass and breaking up two more. After the Tigers scored 21 unanswered points, DePauw drove to the Centre seven-yard line, but on second and goal, Sneed intercepted a pass at the three-yard line and the Colonels went on to run out the clock to preserve the win.
