Ben Robinson, Trinity University, Football (Defensive)
BEN ROBINSON OF TRINITY UNIVERISTY, a 5-11, 188-pound sophomore linebacker from Coppell, Texas, has been selected SCAC Football Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, November 7.
Robinson led the Tiger defense in holding Centre College to just 17 points and pulling off a 27-17 win in the final regular season home game of the year. Robinson tallied eight tackles in the game, six of which were solo stops. He had 3.0 tackles for a total loss of 25 yards, including 2.0 sacks for 24 yards lost. He also had a forced fumble and two passes defended in the game.
