Around The SCAC (Weekly Sports Recaps) - Week 25
SUWANEE, Ga. - The Centre men's lacrosse team picked up two more wins this past week and remain the only undefeated team in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Colonels, who are 4-0, have already exceeded their win total from last year's inaugural season.

(Spring - Week 6)
BASEBALL
Multiple pitching performances stood out during the week as Rhodes'
Matt Burnick, Centre's Joe Nash and Trinity's Ben Klimesh all
displayed dominant efforts on the mound during the week of March
12-18.
Burnick was named SCAC Pitcher of the
Week after throwing a 9-inning complete game against Denison. He
scattered six singles and struck out seven. Nash threw a complete
game while earning a win over sixth-ranked Rowan. Nash struck out
two and yielded just two earned runs. Klimesh rounded out the
pitching gems by tallying 14 strikeouts in his eight innings of
work in a 7-1 win over Austin College.
Around the SCAC - Baseball (Week 7)
SOFTBALL
Heading into the first conference weekend of the season,
Birmingham-Southern and Trinity have the two best records
respectively. The Panthers are 11-3 for the second time in three
seasons; while Trinity, 13-7, has won three straight contests and
seven of its last nine.
Around the SCAC - Softball (Week 5)
MEN'S LACROSSE
Millsaps College earned its first ever varsity lacrosse program
win when the Majors beat Huntingdon, 10-6 on Saturday. Millsaps is
in its second season sponsoring men's lacrosse and the win put an
end to the Majors' 16 game losing streak dating back to beginning
of the 2011 season.
Around the SCAC - Men's Lacrosse (Week 4)
WOMEN'S LACROSSE
Offense has been a plenty in the SCAC this year with all six teams
averaging 10 plus goals per contest with Centre pacing the league
at 14.7 goals a game. Defensively Colorado College is tops in the
league allowing just 3.8 goals a game.
